The Jaromir Jagr and Henrik Lundqvist Show staged a special matinee performance on Saturday afternoon at Scotiabank Place, and the result was a convincing 3-1 win over the host Senators -- the Blueshirts' first victory in Ottawa since March 21, 2002. Jagr set up a first-period goal by Martin Straka and scored one of his own in the second to over the NHL points lead, providing enough offense for the Rangers to ride Lundqvist's netminding back into first place in the NHL's Atlantic Division at the time. Shanahan sealed the deal, when he added an empty netter with 14 seconds remaining.

4-0 shutout - for the Sens.

The way we made Boyle look like a stud, expect Chris Neil to rack up all four by himself.

I noticed that when most teams have a losing streak during that time there is usually some type of more fights due to frustration, but not with the rangers, yep hockey is still different here. I just want a win. But Sens are a good team. Im gonna say 4-3 Sens in OT.

When Chris Kelly is our 1st line center, there's a problem. You guys will be fine against us tonight. I'd be completely shocked to see us pull out a win.

I'm waiting for the inevitable day where someone forgets to make a GDT. Though I don't remember that happening in the earlier part of the decade despite our woes, it'd still amuse me .

Man that would be classic!! We should make a poll on whether a GDT is made for the game 'gainst the Caps on Sat if we lose tomorrow night!

7 - 3 Sens

In protest I'm not watching this game!

Same lineup?? Are you crazy? The first line was horrible with Ward on it, and the second line had ZERO chemistry and looked like crap and created zero scoring chances. If Renney keeps those horrible lines then he really has no clue...

I know your in favor of spreading out the scoring ability but the lines last game just killed the team and nothing was created. We need to keep scorers with scorers if we want to win this game.

I meant same scratches and what not...since it's a given that Orr won't play

Radio for me, just flew out to a vacation in Tucson, AZ, so let's see if the radio for me can change this thing.

BTW, if you can, FLY JETBLUE!! They are absolutely awesome. One of the best flights I've ever had, free DirectTV (35 channels), leather seats, easy check-in, friendly staff... great airline.

Anywhos... LETS GO RANGERS

2-1 sens.

only goal by prucha.

rangers take way way way way way too many penalties.

Lundqvist has a wicked good night though. imo =p

but then again 6 losses are bad, but 7 is absurd ! maybe big rangers blowout tonight....maybe. Empty netter for lundqvist ! If the rangers win, it cant be too far out!

Im actually beginning to root against this team, the only reason being is that I would prefer to lose a few more games and make the trades necessary to fix our roster then win this one tonight.

If the Rangers win this one tonight and start winning again then I can bet you that Sather wont do a damn thing to change the roster, and well eventually run into the same problems again later this season. Thats why I want them to lose.

Let's go Rangers!!!!! Although as I said last game, I'm not watching another game live, until I hear that they won one. I've wasted too many nights lately when I could have been doing something else, and New Years is right around the corner.

I'm not going to post a prediction about tonights game, rather post a plea that they win! Get a lead and keep a lead, dont take stupid penalty's,no blind passes up the middle, get pucks to the net, smart D,Henke play solid, play physical like they did last game against Ottawa, you know, all those things that help make you a good hockey club. Lets Go Rangers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :

Well, the 6 game losing streak came while I was out of town.

Now that I'm back, I expect that they'll win this game

When Jason Ward is OUR 1st line center, theres a problem. Stop trying to use the reverse pyschology on us. It won't work!!

I guess im not the only one who attributes winning and losing streaks to daily routines.
I bought a new Rangers hat the day before the Dallas game and i wore it, they won. I wore it again, they won.... five times in a row. I changed my attire for the game days because i thought it was the magical rangers win hat.

It was, until i put it on against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Then it wasnt so magical.
