Brashear been fighting lately. Should we dress Orr again. Maybe scratch Hossa for Immonen

If we can't win against a half NHL team that also played yesterday, we can just resign this season.

If Lundqvist has the energy, start him. He's been solid enough to give us a chance for points, but when you score 0 goals in game after game, you won't get any.

That's not the point. We have a family crisis, and he's not family.

Haha. But i don't mind the guy, i haven't seen him flame much. That or i don't pay enough attention.

I hope Ovechkin atleast entertains us tonight

...or better yet...WE KIDNAP HIM!

yes, we could force him to play for us! For every goal he doesn't score, we'll kill him! The cup is ours!

Seriously, a win isn't good enough tonight. They need to be slaughtered, absolutely slaughtered. And even then i have no faith in this team, but it would be a start.

edit: EA Sports NHL07 Hardest Difficulty Season says rangers win 5-3. Prucha Straka Rachunek with goals, prucha the game winner. And immonen with 2, one an empty net shortie ! And EA Sports never lies, except the part where the rangers are 28-9-3...and the part where Rachunek is a +24...and where Blaire Betts has 6 short handed goals...and Jagr leads the league with 340 Hits...with the following being the entire rangers roster.

a man can dream

doing 'something' by making a move just for the sake of making a move, and making a move that actually helps the team are 2 different things. sather, maloney and renney aren't stupid they know there are problems and i guarantee they were fully aware of the problems BEFORE the losing streak. but the real $1 mil question is what realistically can we do about it...nobody wants hossa, hall, ward, orr, rachunek, etc. and we don't want to give up staal, dubinsky, korpikoski, etc for a quick fix. well if we aren't willing to give up anything of value, how much value do you expect to get in return?? they are doing the right thing by not sacrificing those prospects but if you are unwilling to deal anything of value then you are left dealing garbage for garbage which makes it really tough to make things better...

if they felt that a change for the sake of change would be good then they would just waive or dump some guys and make a few callups cause there are a couple guys in hartford close enough to being ready that you could insert them to shake things up.

I want the Rangers to win badly but the pressure from the home crowd to win tonight is going to hurt.

Dammit.. I forgot to pick up whatever Caps were undrafted so I can pile up points as the Rags get slaughtered.

This team sucks like a cheap hooker.

Go Prucha, Lundqvist and Hollweg.

I think we'll win tonight.

I sure hope we do, as a loss will increase the chances of a Sather trade that may sacrifice part of our future for a temporary fix.

In all fairness of the god of jinx, you should of course have put all your vcash on the Capitals.

I will personally blame you if we don't win this one.

At what point do we shift our focus from being a playoff contending team, to looking ahead at the draft?
