Good first period. Let's play a full game tonight though.

Nice 1st period, now they have to not let the dreaded 2-zip lead do them in.

they really need to maintain the offensive pressure throughout the rest of this game if they really want to win... too many times I've seen this team get a 2 goal lead and then sit back and play defense, letting the other team create chances...

if they can keep up the solid play in the neutral zone and the overall control of the puck, henke will have a shutout tonight..

were wearing down the Caps, by the time the 3rd comes around, unless we completely implode, they shouldnt have anything left in the tank.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2-0 lead going into the 2nd...I know I'm probably too excited, but its the first goals in over 153 minutes of play! LET'S GO RANGERS!!!! KEEP UP THE INTENSITY!!!!

PRUCHA RULES ALLL!!!!!! NYLANDER KEEPS THE FIRST LINE TOGETHER!!!

Don't let anything by Lundy!!!!

Is it just me, or does Jagr look kind of different in the past 10 games or so, doesn't seem to skate to hard or make the sharp turns he used to that made him get away from the players he was getting double teamed by?

Joe MIch:..

"Cullen needs to break out...he's got too much offensive talent..." He's about 30 years old and has reached the 20 goal mark once in his career.

Glad to see the Rangers playing better...tough to get excited playing against a team that's very shorthanded and who's played a good deal on the road the last several days. It's basically a must win. Anything less would be a huge disappointment.

Hockeyfn..

I don't worry about the third - I'd be surprised if Washing has any gas left in tank in the third.

Stupid penalty by Ward. HE should sit for that! Let see if Renney has any balls.

OT: You just got to see this "NHL players are just like you and me" with AO. One of the best hockey commercials I've ever seen.

I'll ask some Concorde to tie a piece of string to the wing and bring it over the Atlantic and you can stop talking.

Sounds like Lundqvist saved a laserbeam, according to the Caps PBP guy.

FFS! Rangers just LOVE to collect those 5 on 3 PK:s. Aaaaargh...

edit: 4 on 3? Alright. Perhaps 5 on 4 if they skip that double.
