I'm actually not too confident. This is a very important game for Tampa standings wise (a loss tonight and a Panthers win/OT loss on Friday night puts Tampa last in the division and 14th in the East) and I'm just honestly not sure Tampa can even win this game tonight. I don't feel safe with a lead unless it's literally by 4-5 goals, and even then, it's not 100%.

We've found so many different ways to lose/blow/choke away games that we should win/were winning. Couple that with recent domination of the Flyers, and it's a recipe for absolute embarassment for Tampa IMO.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

Looks like Holmer is going to be in net tonight...

Quote:
Johan Holmqvist will indeed be in goal, and after his performance agaisnt Atlanta he should be in goal. He was subperb in that game and needed some help from his offense to pick up the win. Maybe the best goaltending performance of the season, even better than when Holmqvist beat Ottawa 3-1 at home.

i don't feel too comfortable, hopefully the guys don't underestimate the Flyers, bad things happen when they do that, they need to play a solid game, with tons of effort .

I totally agree. I'm just about positive they blow this game tonight. I am sick as hell so I am going to sit on the couch and watch this game with as little emotion as possible. I hope they win it but they do have to lose to Philly sometime.

Well they better lose another day, we needs points, plus it would be a complete embarrassment if they lose to a team that's struggling so much.

Yay, Esche in goal for the Flyers.

My prediction: 6-1 Lightning.

Nothing shocks me with this team anymore. Great start guys

What's up with the HD feed? It says all over the place that it's being broadcast in HD, yet when I tune into the SUNHD, I just get a schedule listing.

Vinny really annoys me sometimes. He does spins, backflips, etc with the puck when he could just take a shot, and 75% of the time he loses it or sends it wide.

Greaaaaaaaaaaaat. They black it out for me on HDnet, and it's not being shown on SUNHD either. Thanks SUNSHINE!

I'm starting to wonder which of these two teams is actually the worse one.

Gotta love playing a team winless in the entire month, and coming out looking like crap.

I have it in HD. But earlier in the year they had a game that was supposed to be in HD and I didn't get it so I feel your pain.

Doug Janik looked awful on his shift on the 2nd goal. Bad giveaway in the neutral zone that led to some chances then gets caught in no man's land and did nothing to help Holmqvist.

That was as bad a period as they have played all season I think. They are lucky to be down by only 1.
