Demers' reaction was great...

Not sure how he phrased it exactly, but he meant:

"Dont MESS with Carbo"

On a brighter note it can't get much worst.I say the Habs will score 2 in the 3rd and win 3-2.They should be ashamed.

It'd be pretty worrisome if you didn't.

I mean guys, what do you expect. We had a well-oiled machine since the start of the year, where Huet had to make the great saves and the special teams are phenomenal.

When our special teams don't work, and Huet is just great not phenomenal (meaning no softies), we still have the same trouble 5 on 5, we still have some questionable defensive d-men, we don't have a 2nd line and our 3rd while being superb defensively, don't score too often.....

Having said that, losing both games won't be the end of the world but it sure as hell dissappointing....

Is Higgins injured? he doesn't seem to have the same jump/legs as he usually does.

Huet/Perezhogin/Komisarek are playing well.. that's about it..

[QUOTE=nyhabsfan;7503625]

I used to defend Ryder.... NOW, I'd trade him for the RIGHT second line center!

QUOTE]

Nobody has defended Ryder as much as I have but even I am willing to trade him now. If he's 100% healthy then his effort over these past fews games is simply not acceptable. Horrible, horrible playing by him lately and unless he can prove otherwise in the 3rd period I'd even trade him immediately following the game. Time to wake up Michael, unless you want to ride with those trade winds down South.

The WORST preformers of the year

My top 5 Habs that have played the worst consistently all year!

1. Rivet
2. Samsanov (playing a little better lately)
3. Kovalev (All skill, no heart)
4. Ryder (Zero hockey sense, with or without the puck)
5. Murray (why?)

IF we can see it, you know the hockey minds of Les Habitants can, the only question is waht they will do about it no and in the off-season!

I'm wondering the same, I'm not seeing the same Higgins we saw the few games back from his injury. His ankle might not still be 100%.

Not only of the year but of the last 2 season, even when the team was lifeless under Julien.

That's what every zealot here has been saying to defend the slug ever since our 10th game or so!

4 of the seven shots from the third line. perez and Johnson. The rest should donate their paychecks to Huet for the night

You do the wrong thing, ya get smacked.

They send LaPierre back to the minors. Murray and Downey continue to light up the ice with some sort of salary cap induced sub par performance.

I get that feeling too. If not for Huet we'd be out of this one 5 minutes in. Tampa must be frustrated much like Habs were last ngiht as they outplayed Florida and lost. Tonight is the opposite.

We want TBay to be more on their heels to have a chance to win this, and them leading by 1 might be the best news for us.
