The Neil hatred vs the Thrashers goes way back. Some will remember when he speared Kovalchuk in the foot. It's pretty funny to read on the Sens board the comments about Atlanta 'gooning' and being 'dirty' made by some 'mediocre' poster. Good for grins.
Ouch!! Hossa hurts himself on a check he initiates. Hit Volochencko square in the back with his left shoulder, but seems like he may have jammed his shoulder. Good to see that he is sitting on the bench. Hope he comes back to help protect the lead.
Looks like Kelly got hit in the face again, and again, no call. Tough to say if he was actually hit from the angle I saw, but he definitely bleeding again. Another bullet dodged by the Thrash. A five minute penalty at this point would not be good.
I hope Murray's whining about the missed call isn't going to cause a cheap call to go against us.
I think he may have a good case to complain. A guy gets hit twice and bleeds both times, and there is no penalty? I hate when coaches cry when it is unwarranted, but there is definitely blood, so Murray has a good case.
It looked like Havelid bailed out after he had Schaffer tied up the corner. I rewound the DVR a couple times to check this. He started to get his stick caught around Schaffer and wanted to avoid an interference penalty.
