Quote of the year(2006)

"It's nice to beat the Oilers, especially when there's Oilers fans in the stands" said defenseman Robyn Regehr. "Hopefully they're at home crying".

and it came on the last night.

Not really like him but he had a big smile on his face when he said it. Not hard to tell they really wanted that game last night.

lol. Yeah, it's always a beautiful sight to see Oilers fans frowning into their beer at the SaddleDome.

and if Staios said that we would laugh but think the same thing... but seriously i am glad something liek this was said... it draws more attention to the BOA... and maybe things will get a little more physical next time... while there seems to be emotion in the games... there diesnt seem to be that hatred we need to bring the BOA back to where it should be

Haha yeah, I've noticed that too.

Although I will say this: Growing up a Flames fan and hating the Oilers all my life, I never thought I'd ever once cheer for them under any circumstance, yet I found myself doing so last week when they played the Canucks. It's like I hate both teams equally as much, and wish there was some way they could both lose when they play each other, but if I had to cheer for one of them, it would probably be the Oilers. But still, the Battle of Alberta to me is still the best hockey for my buck.

Well I know that Regehr nails Hemsky at least once a game in the BOA. Poor Hemmer
