POLL: Which suks more, our PP or PK?

Well, Minnesota just lit us up for another powerplay goal. We've been giving up bushels on the PK, and giving up short-handed rushes like crazy. So which unit do you think is worse?

PP for sure. First goal - underestimation of Rolton's shot. Second goal - fluke deflection, no one had a chance on stopping that. MN has a really good PP anyways. Our PP is just pathetic, though. I wish they could decline power plays because they're just that bad.

If it wasn't for Kari, we'd be getting embarrassed. Oops, only 5 shots on goal thru half the game, I think we are being embarrassed.

Both of our special teams suck equally bad.

It comes down to the talent on each unit. And right now the talent on our PP unit as a whole is better talent than on the PK.

With that in mind, I say our PP unit sucks worse and is the bigger disappointment.

But our PK is still pretty brutal. I bet it improves when Sutton returns though.

lmao my thoughts exactly....we were in toronto watching the wild game in a sports bar....awesome place - we had the habs/lightning game on one TV, the car/pens game on another, and the thrashers game on the one nearest us....i love canada

there was even a guy there who was wearing a lightning cap and cheering for the thrashers ... born and raised in toronto, never even been to florida, but he loves the lightning. go figure.

as for the original question, I'd say the PP is worse than the PK...sometimes it seems as though we control the puck better on the PK, or at least spend more time in their zone....sometimes...

Right now our PK is horrid. You can tell that it's REALLY missing Andy Sutton.
