Second has to be Dary Tucker.
I started disliking him when he was a rookie. He scored a goal in the playoffs and he then while he was celebrating, he got right into gilmour's kitchen and made sure that gilmour could see his celebration on an intimate level. I thought that was pretty disrespectful coming from a rookie to a seasoned veteran.

Being out in the west doesn't give much info on the east. SO I have to ask... why do so many dislike Briere? Is he a diver? A whiner? So clutch its annoying? Is he so ugly it makes you cringe? What's the reason?

Oh and who do I dislike?

Huselius... the charges may have been dropped, but just looking at that guy makes me think he's guilty
Torres... he's like Nolan, he'll celebrate a goal like he won the Stanley Cup just to put his team on the board in an 8-1 game (or score an empty net goal).

Then you have to add Tallinder and Lilja to your list, too.

Just because a guy is good doesn't mean you have to like him.
I love his interviews. Finally someone who isn't full of cliches.

I dont know why these guys bother me, but they just do for whatever reason, but Brian Gionta and Jason Blake. I dont dislike them because of their skill, just something about the way they carry themselves just bothers me for some reason. The only person who I hate because of their skill is Broduer.

Every Leaf that ever played the game since they traded Lanny (Sittler gets an exemption)

Peca
Brad Park
Hasek
Brett Hull
Mogilny
Quebec Nordiques (For trading Dale)
Every Flyer that has ever donned the uniform
The Hurricanes
The Islanders

Whew, I feel better now that I have walked down the Sabres Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

Oh yeah, Roenick on principle for setting back American hockey by being such an incredible jerk.

How detailed do you expect him to go with his English and in a situation like that. The Buffalo fans who were bothering him in that interview (if you're talking about that one) showed real lack of class. One question about it would've been enough.

The reason I hate so much quebecers is because they receive too much cheering and media attention by RDS.. and I'm getting sick of it!
Dominic Moore maybe?

And you hate players for bad reasons....

Stupid.

No, I'm talking about his conference call.

And what interview were Sabres fans bothering him? I missed it. (Granted I was at the game so if it was a interview during that game I never would have seen it).

OT but: Didnt he knock out Janet Gretzky when he got checked or checked someone into the boards? I kind of remember seeing a video on youtube and the funniest part about it was he kinda skated over to Wayne and just said, "Uh... I think I hurt you wife...".

The ugly thing is true, but he's also a little punk. He has zero sportsmanship and thinks very highly of himself. I still remember the head tap on rozsival - i think it was rozsival - after briere scored during a sabres blowout win against the rangers. Rozsival was on his knees and briere tapped him on the head (blatantly mocking him and his team) and the Rangers just took it like they're known to do. I don't advocate violence (often), but that deserved a stick to the chops and then some.

At least it's way better than Briere's: "I don't think it was anything".

Most people dislike Briere because he goes down rather easily and has been way overrated since the Sabres started winning consistently (beginning of last year).

A point that is A) your opinion and B) might matter if this was a Briere vs. Ovechkin thread.

Besides which Ovechkin's "it was a game" comment came after his punishment came down, Briere had yet to escape it and couldn't say anything.

Toss up between that coward/traitor Tucker and THE enemy Soudinne.

But leaning on that ***'s side. Sundin has always played for the enemy. Be it for the NorDicks, the Maple Leafs or TreKronor. I don't have much reason to hate Djurgårdens, but if you ask me, I cheer for Färjestads in the Elitserien (just cause Souray kicked some serious behind there).

And I'm no homophobe but did you guys ever see that Chunky's commercial he did with his mom, what a ******, in the worse sense of the word.

Ok, you might tell me he had a girlfriend, but her name was Fägerström, come on, give us a break...
