I thought we could make a forum for all of the trade deadline rumours and completed deals. Also, I think if we hear about a possible trade rumour we can make proposals that would fit each team's needs. Just a thought, if so this will be it.
Oh and if admin or mod uses this please sticky it
Ill start off by proposing this deal,
To Belleville:
D-Ryan Parent
To Guelph:
LW-Matt Beleskey
4th Round Pick
D-Nick Pageau
It would make more sense than Parent, wouldn't it? Seems to me the Bulls need scoring before defense. Both players would make them serious contenders, but do they have the pieces to give up?

that is the question isnt it. I remember when Downie was on the block with Windsor he was rumoured to possibly going to the Bulls. I would love it if they got him now, and I guess it wouldnt make to much of a difference if he gets traded to a fellow team in there division, considering Downie is in his last year
i dont see 4 roster players being moved for downie.....just if they are making a playoff/championship push dealing 4 roster players is too much your depth will be thin and you need your 3rd-4th line guys in the playoffs on occasion

Tipoff hardly plays and Tangradi sometimes plays. I was wondering maybe Pageau and Beleskey along with a 2nd in 09
Besides Parent, the big names out there are Ryder and Downie. I still think Kitchener is the most likely destination for one or both.
I've heard talk about Oreskovic from Brampton as well. I'd rather see Kitchener take a run at Parent or Oreskovic before Downie/Ryder (although I can't say I'd be unhappy to see Downie in a Rangers jersey!).
Cameron or Lalonde would most likely be the starting point in any deal for Downie.
Beleskey is a great player, but seeing as he'll likely be playing hockey above the OHL level in 2 years, the Petes won't benefit from getting him, because they are highly unlikely to contend next season.
The Petes should be going after only 89's and 90's.

see besides the picks not be there, I cant see getting rid of Cameron good even if were getting Downie back. I was thinking,
To Peterborough:
LW-Matt Beleskey
D-Eric Tangradi
D-Nick Pageau
RW-Matt Tipoff
To Belleville:
C/RW-Steve Downie
I agree with superfly that is too much to pay for Downie. I could see possibly Pageau or Cianfrini with a pick and Snow. When Tangradi gets the chance to play he looks pretyy good, he is not afraid to use the body and goes hard to the net. I don't think Tipoff can be moved yet he is only 16 and was the second round pick. I think that only first rounders can be moved in there first year Burnett was quoted in the paper that Beleskey is going nowhere so rule out him.
Some non-trades the Generals have made are as follows:
Assigned Kris Belan to Pickering of the OPJHL
Assigned Anthony Peters to Wellington of the OPJHL
Our OA situation in Oshawa seems to be settled, Lacasse, Aston, Gongalsky should all be here to stay. And Peters will see some good playing time in JR A.

Ya do see what your saying, Tangradi has looked pretty good, and I would rather do the pother deal. However, I douby Burnett will trade Snow after acquiring him
Cal Clutterbuck is in the lineup tonight for the Kingston-Oshawa game. He will be playing. Don't worry about him going anywhere. And also, now that Cody Bass is in Saginaw, I don't think that Downie will be going anywhere.
