Maybe Ribeiro and Dagenais weren't the only two-sum in the locker room?

Don't confuse influenza (grippe, a respiratory virus disease) with the self-limited viral gastroenteritis the players are experiencing. They're totally different infections. Recovery from the GI virus should take a couple of days in a healthy young adult but full recovery from influenza could take a week or longer.

Clostridium difficile , a bacterial infection, produces watery or bloody diarrhea. It is more serious than common viral gastroenteritis caused by a Norwalk virus or rotavirus and has to be treated with antibiotics. Despite what the Journal de Montréal says, I doubt whether this organism is responsible for the outbreak among the players because it doesn't spread easily.

lol indeed.

This whole flu things probably explains the unnusual lack of energy of some players on the team. Even with the sudafed or other medication it's pretty hard to concentrate when you have this type of flu...

Let's just hope they contaminate Jagr.

I had it before xmas and it lasted 5-6 days. Depends what virus they got... if it's norwalk, they should be better tomorrow. But that ****'s really virulent and easily transmitted to others so you want to keep them away for 1-2 days after it's over or at least isolate them as much as possible.

Sudafed would have no effect because they're not experiencing a respiratory infection.

ah okok. Didn't know that. thing is, when you have this sort of flu, how can you even play? I guess there are medications but how effective can they be? Because if half our defence is out for tommorow...

Hey , thats not nice...calling that unispiered bum Kovalev a virus. Oh wait they were actually sick with the flu. I'd clasiffy Kovalev as more of a pothead anyway, too lazy and preoccupied to see whats going on around him.

Oh man, C Difficile is do awful...

The only good thing is my father sell more stock in the Hospital in all Quebec because of this bacteria...

Its kinda weird, you need to clean&wash with "bleach" to remove it. (eau d'Javel).

Ryder out = Me Happy (I hate him since game one of the last season).

I'll just take this to mean you haven't watched any of the recent Habs games.

it's funny how only North Americans got affected by the virus

maybe that's a proof that the Europeans don't hang out with the Americans outside the ice
