That's what I was thinking. I was sure this was going to be an old thread about Ribeiro or Theodore.

Kovalev has 3 more points than Ryder, and Latendresse has 9 points less than Ryder, all three with same number of games played. How have they outplayed Ryder? Oh yeah, wishing sickness on Ryder, real classy!!

Latendresse sees very little of PP time while Ryder is on the 1st PP, every time. As for Kovalev, I said in the last month or so...which is the truth. Ryder only looked good in October.

I'm just saying that it could get Carbo to change up the lines, which I think would be good for the team.

In other news, Saku Koivu, after scoring his 500th NHL point, will be seen rushing to the washroom.

it reminds me of a game involving lemieux and the penguins.

It was no secret that mario was sick during the game. All of a sudden, Mario left the ice and went to the dressing room during the 2nd period. I assumed an equipment problem.

Well, he returned about 10 minutes later.

When the game was over, some guy asked him why he left in the 2nd period. If I remember correctly, mario basically said that it was a private issue.

Maybe we'll see alot of crap breaks for the habs as well. Playing matinee games with the flu is making me sick just thinking about it.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised if the team maintains super short shifts for the afternoon game(s)

Yes, and look for players making a sudden dash for the bench, lol. When I had the flu I couldn't keep down plain crackers and water and stayed nearby a toilet, I can't imagine trying to playing hockey!

Ya I saw this on the Score ticker last night saying the Canadiens had to cancel practice because so many people were sick. And now we have two afternoon games back-to-back.

This isn't going to be pretty.

Wow, are the 'clicks' really over on that team? Murray, Ryder, Souray, Rivet and Komisarek are victims of the virus. Strangely, no euro or Quebecer..... strange correlation isn't it?

????

Only 4 out of the 23 man roster are quebeckers. And 1 is injured and probably not with the team (at least not on the trips).

The fact that the 5 that are sick of the 23 are not quebeckers is far from being a "correlation" or "strange".

Koivu and Latendresse are also out today with the flu. Plus Dandenault was throwing up before last game. So you can take your stupid theories elsewhere.

Have they heard of proper hand washing?

Cripes, are they licking each others fingers?

These things are generally airborne, and they are all breathing while sitting next to each other on the bench. The constant spitting players do only worstens the situation.

Did the Habs get the flu shot?

You'd never know it.

Their superlative physical training, and focused nutrient ingestion, along with the flu shot, should have adequately protected the majority of players.

I expected Koivu to be affected to considering is leagendary frendship with Rivet. I am happy Latendresse got it too, as it will make him even more part of the team. (Still, I only speculate that their infection as the same origin).

Where did you get this total misinformation? You automatically flunk epidemiology 101 without reprieve. Norwalk and related enteric viruses are not airborne. If they were, they would produce respiratory infections.
