We really need to pull out all the stops to get the 2 points tomorrow with freaking NJ coming into town on Sunday.

Let's hope the virus has not spread to other players and that the ones with it quickly recover. Dandenault said he had it yesterday and seemed to be doing OK when RDS interviewed him today, so it may be a virus that goes away after a day or so.

This is off-topic but I just saw a clip from TSN's Top 10 must-see moments of the week and one of them was a pre-game interview with Shanahan. He was bouncing back and forth from skate to skate, and when one of the reporters asked what he was doing he said he was giving "the Ottawa interview", a reference to how Sens players are always on the exercise bikes, pre- or post-game.

(Damn I wish he signed here instead)

We'll bag that SHANAHAN...

BECAUSE....

He was gutless, he was lead to New York City by his wife pulling a him by the balls, he refused the honor to play for the Canadiens and I would expect the fans at Bell Center to NOT take it likely on him. He is not the man, he is a coward.

Habs win, and not only Habs win, but it will be a party night for Latendresse and the two call-ups!

I've had this game circled on my calendar.

Hey i noticed Souray and Kovalev lead the Habs in PIM's.
Is there a true fighter/enforcer on the team right now?

I know the flu has hit them so i guess the lineup is gonna be changed up a bit.
Who's in/out?

thanks.

pretty sure Shanny is not a coward though.

Kovalev's had two game misconducts so it's not entirely accurate. If there is an enforcer it's Aaron Downey but he's not a regular on the roster. Other than him it would probably be Souray. Definitely not Kovalev

All we know so far is that Rivet, Souray, Komisarek, Ryder and Murray all have the flu and that Mikael Grabovski and Maxim Lapierre have been called up. No official word on who is or isn't playing yet though.

Rangers are the best slump busters, on of the softest teams in the NHL. If the Habs bring it physically and crash the net, coupled with a solid performance by Aebischer and this could be a good win.

Hopefully, were actually really good in afternoon games in past years so hopefully it continues.

Lapierre should bring back energy and I hope Grabo plays well in his first NHL game.

If slump busters mean they stop our slump, it won't be for long because the day after we play against the slump makers

I don't think the fans are as informed as us...so I don't think they know what happened. I know it hurts considering the season he's having but overall our team is playing better than his so we should be happy.

I'm pretty sure you are wrong. When RDS was showing its upcoming games schedule, the devil and Ranger games were on it (unless my memory fails me)

other options are CBC for the ranger game and TSN for the devil game.

Who here thinks we should honour Brodeur's great performances here by sending some of the players to NJ to shake his hand today? Oh, Rivet, Souray, Komisarek, Ryder and Murray will do.

I'm going to this game! I hope they still play well, can't wait to see Grabovski. I really hope Lapierre does so well that they can't send him back.
