Tortorella starts whoever won the last game. Personally I wish we would pick a goalie and stick with him, thats the only way they will build confidence.

Alot of you guys rag our goalies to much. Denis is a good starting goalie as hes shown in the past years. Alot of it has to do with the rest of the team.
Some of you think Khabibulin was the answer.
Would you say he was a bad goalie? Last season he had a .886% 3.35 GAA and he won only 17 games. But this year, hes doing well.
Things happen and turn around. Wonder if Chicago fans last year had the same disloyalty as the fans on this board do now with the none stop ragging.
Give'em a chance, few moves will be made, things will turn around.
Amen. The way Torts plays the goalies gives them no chance to get a rhythm going nor does it inspire confidence...which explains why both of their play seems so disjointed (to me, anyway). For Christ sake, they can't get better if they don't PLAY.
Denis had not only proved in 5 years on the CBJ that he can be a starting goalie, he'd also proven he can take over the lion's share of the duties if need be, though he's stated that he's not looking to start anywhere near over 70 games this season.
Denis gets the heat because he was expected to come in and save the team. We can thank the TBL/TBO/SPT hype machine for that.

I honestly love both of them and I think I can say I was the biggest pro-Denis guy when Feaster made the deal. That being said I also think that Torts hurt goalies confidences by sitting them if they lose. BUT, too many times this year have seen the Lightning making bad decisions in their own end that leads to scoring chances and at times both goaltenders have choked. Not slamming them there, just stating facts. Our problems in net have been the inability to make key saves at key times during games. That is the goalies fault regardless his playing time. If a goalie lets in a softie, then I'm all for hammering him because it shouldn't happen. We can blame the D, blame the coach, blame the ice, blame the janitor but when it comes down to it these guys are in the NHL and should be able to keep their team in games at rough points during games. That's just how I feel.
