Will we see Gilbert play tonight? I mean, it is his birthday and his 1st NHL game...what more could you ask for? 2 powerplay points while MAB sits on the bench?

I am hoping he will still be playing next week when they Oilers travel to Minnesota, as I want to see him play in person...

Edmonton - 4
San Jose - 3

Three former Wisconsin Badgers on the ice (potenially) in Gilbert, Winchester and Pavelski (SP?) for SJ...

This is an exciting game for us, because should we win it could really start that big streak that we need to go on. This is the toughest test we've had since at least Christmas, I think the boys can pull it out, but the realist in me says we won't....my gawd I hope the realist is wrong!!!

When is the last time Roloson stole a game...IMO the Oilers will need him to do that tonight.

Exactly what I was thinking. We need Roli to come up huge tonight.

No he played well but he didn't steal the game, the Oilers had a lot more quality chances than L.A. did.

if we win, we vault into 3rd in the division

let's hope Staios is good to go or else Roli will be peppered all night

Go Oilers!

6-4 Lupul with 3, Smyth with 2, and Sykora with the Other, 4 PP goals, and Torres catches a shark player with there head down, and causes Shark fans to start a bounty on his head.

Maybe tonight the Hockey Gods smile on Horcoff, and he scores 5 goals. A short handed breakaway goal, a PP goal off his ***, an ES goal that he kicks in, a penalty shot goal that shouldn't be a penalty shot, and an empty netter bank shot?

The law of averages or something.

Right?

RIGHT?!

Tonight will be the exclamation point to Lowe of just how much we miss Pronger. I think Joe & Patty will walk all over our D, but Roli plays out of his mind and we score 5.

5-3 Oilers (outshot 45-28), KL announces tomorrow morning that we've acquired _____ ________, a young, highly-touted, potential stud offensive defenseman.

Who am I kidding, with that AHL defense, San Jose is going to feast on us.

7-3 Sharks.

Vancouver played OK when they had Salo, Mitchell and some other guy out of theri lineup. I think the Oilers will get this game to OT.

For a game like Hungry Hungry Hippos...it had to have been worth it.

Maybe to save time, just start a thread which claims, "I predict the Oilers to lose every game they play"
