that's a pretty cool liquid effect

I was inspired to create an animated version:

Hope the size doesn't throw too many comp connections into a tizzy...if you like it, go ahead & save it as I'll likely delete it in a bit since it's showing an 'error' msg, at least at my end

slight sidenote, I wish they still had those 'art sharks' like the one the guy used in his image. Sharks sculptures, each painted by a different local artist featuring an amazing array of creativity, scattered about downtown

I have to say I hope the Sharks win big, but here's to a good game - with no injuries & zebra melodrama

However, it would still be nice to know the Calgary locations for future PPV games. The only place I know of is Thistles Urban Deli Lounge at 507 10 Street SW...the western edge of downtown. Tiny little place but just like the weather, the beer was cold.

Well, thats 2 places. Plus I'm sure Shanks would show it, but I need somewhere around 17th ave and 14th street (stumbling distance to my flat).

Oh well, internet radio it is...

Edit: ...which means if you are watching the game tonight, descriptive play analysis is appreciated by us stuck with the radio as our only warm option.

Anyone else listening to CHED right now?

For some reason I am hearing the Oilers-Kings game.... Have I gone back in time?

Another thing I should mention about Thistles...their priority is the Oiler game.
It is a dedicated Oiler lounge in the heart of Calgary.

Great pic, excellent work. And I agree 100%, save for the "Big Sharks win of course"

I wouldn't be surprised if the Sharks mailed in an effort tonight and we squeaked out a win.

Ugh, I was all set to head over and watch the game and it turns out I don't have a stupid car.

Now I have to stick around here and listen to the game with you losers.

I'm hoping MacTavish gives Gilbert some minutes on the PP tonight, getting that opportunity should raise his comfort level and give him a chance to handle the puck a little more.
