Man Oh Man did they look flat last night. I feel a craptacular January looming before us. Calgary and Vancouver are our toughest buildings to play in aside from maybe Anaheim. While we seem to be playing better against the Oilers, we'll more than likely be coming off two confidence-sapping losses. Hopefully, Chicago will play poorly enough to gift us a desparately needed win.

Last night was depressing Somebody needs to step up and drag us out of it. Rolston cannot single-handedly do it. Bouchard and Koivu are a season or two away from having that ability. Mark Parrish certainly has been contributing (finally). We desperately need Gaborik and Demitra to reconnect.

Does anybody think it'll happen Thursday?

I kind of had a feeling this would happen. Offense was OK b4 he came back. End of a homestand. Out onto the road with zero chemistry all of a sudden. Calgary/division opponents are always gonna be tough. Hopefully this doesn't mess with their heads. Might be a few more games or some line shuffling away from clicking again.

I'm never surprised when they flat line like this. Some of these guys just don't know how to play well with eachother. Kipper is a tough goalie so I'll give em that, but 3 goals???

Exactly. I think it's time DR takes a long, hard look at our coaching.

We are one 9 game winning streak (which started the season) different than last year. The same November through January doldrums.

If this team cannot make the playoffs, I hope that DR will fire Lemaire. Hopefully, this doesn't happen.

I think the first thing the Wild need is a real captain. It was a nice quirk when they came into the league and it was being passed around like a hot potato, but when you're a team actually looking to go somewhere, the fact that there isn't an actual captain, to me is a sign of weak leadership.

I don't think the guys in the room will listen to a guy just because he has a letter on his jersey. I'm not sure on-ice leadership is the problem.
