Fantasy / Pool Questions, Injury Updates

Fantasy / Pool Questions

Got a fantasy league type question for Senators fans with respect to a current player?

Ask it here!

(a) Ask about a current injury to a Senator
(b) Ask about ice time for particular Senators
(c) Ask about what line a player is playing on, or whether they are playing on the PK or PP
(d) Ask how a player is performing right now.

I actually have Gerber in one of my leagues - i still keep him in case he turns things around and also because the next best goalie available on waivers is .... Theodore.

I'm in a fantasy league where the goalie reserves are pretty thin, and Gerber is still available. The next highest rank goalie available is Mike Dunham.

I got really burned last year in a hockey pool with goalies. They are often responsible for so many point categories. This year, i drafted several goalies before forwards or defense. The result has landed me success this year. In one league, i have Miller, Kiprasoff, and Vokoun.

Never been in a fantasy pool, they do sound fun but I just can't get into them.

I am into FHL sim leagues based on NHL rerates, I only say that so I can plug this league.
http://www.nefhl.com/news/

We are getting a little thin on people on the waiting list so if anyone is interested they should get there name in it. It's a hell of a league is you know how FHLsim works and the NHL rerates are extremely realistic.

Is Redden going to keep up his recent improved play (fantasy-wise anyhow)? Stuck with him so far and hoping it pays dividennds down the strech.

Probably see him back shortly after the all-star game. Fisher too.

Is there anything new on Comrie's injury?

What line was he on tonight? I picked him up in my league as soon as he was traded to the Sens to combo him up with Emery, who I've had since I joined this pool.

As for Comrie I'd like to know what the indications are with him next game and when Fish and Spezza return. Doesn't seem like he is seeing a whole lot of PP time.

Anyways for my fantasy sake I'd like to know everyone's thoughts.

I was able to draft Redden in one of my leagues. With his bad start, i quickly traded him for Lidstrom because his value was still high. I also has Meszaros on the same team. As Redden's injured days came to an end, i traded Meszaros back to the same player for Redden and now my defence is just sick.

He centred Alfie and Heatley on the PP last night.

For the rest of the game he was centering Schaefer and Neil.

I traded Havlat for Lundqvist. It was a lose-lose.

I heard recently (where exactly slips my mind) that Spezza is targeting the week after the all-star game for a return. Either the 29th against Montreal , the 30th against Washington and if not then ....later in the week on Feb 3rd against Toronto. Would be a great time for a return as two of those 3 games are big divisonal rival games.

I would assume Fisher is on the exact same timeline as well as they as similar injures.

yeah, wow! I suppose fantasy prowess entails identifying the idiots in your league.
