what are the odds of luongo pulling a 'Pronger'?

and requesting a trade after this season?

i mean, its very similar to that situation, Pronger gets traded, signs a big contract plays awesome, requests.

luongo gets traded, signs a big contracts, plays awesome (to me at least).

all thats missing is the playoff run by the Canucks

but anyways, its just something abstract to think about, now that we know it can happen....

Well hopefully Luongo keeps his male sex organ under control!

It was a joke. I doubt it. Vancouver has better weather than Edmonton, and I don't think he's married (I could be wrong).

Luongo has given several interviews stating that he likes Vancouver, loves the hockey atmosphere, is glad he was traded, and that the trade is working out better for him than he could have imagined.

As well, unlike Edmonton, Vancouver's a beautiful city.

Why the hell would Luongo want to leave? He's a friggin' hero around here. He could kill a cop and get away with it.

He won't...

Question:

How does [wife] Gina like Vancouver?

She loves it, thinks it's a great city. All her family is here right now and they love it. The tough part is the travel because it takes a whole day to get back.

Difference is pronger's wife is filthy rich and is worth more than him. Luongo's wife is a regular girl from florida I believe.

Pronger could too after his playoff run in Edmonton. Well that was for about a day before he demanded the trade.

Yea, then the cops were looking for him, along with 400,000 angry fans. I'm surprised he didn't start a riot.

Maybe if you're born here. The scenery is beautiful, but I'll take Alberta winter over these last two any year. I can't stand the low cloud, I'd rather have cold and blue skies.

The odds are literally 0%.

Vancouver is not Edmonton. Luongo is not Pronger. Nothing similar about the situations at all really, except some vague reaching.

Ha... i was actually going to say that "we do have taylor whose a ***** though", but thought it would have been too obscure.

Wow. Uhh. I really see no connection at all. I guess he might, but at this point its no more likely than any other superstar demanding a trade. What made you think of this?

It's minus 26 right now in Edmonton and minus 3 in Vancouver. The wife being unhappy with the weather isn't worth comparing.

I don't know why he would request/demand a trade, but the odds are certainly better than 0%. There's always a chance it could happen.

TO be fair, Lauren pronger wrote a few articles in the paper during the season about how nice Edmonton was and all that Jazz, shes a total flake and a fake.

Pronger was hardly revered any less in Edmonton.

it hasn't been a typical vancouver winter.

There are some crazy things happening this year.

Crazy winds, an unusual amount of snowfall, below seasonal temps, and stanley park is taking a beating.

If his family can get through this, they can get through any sort of climate in vancouver.

In my 23 years in Vancouver, I've never seen a winter as crazy as this one.

Heres a thought....maybe she didn't want to leave because of Edmonton, but maybe something in Edmonton
