at least you've got another period... florida blew a 3rd period 3 goal lead (shutout, at that) and has less than 5 minutes left now...

Here's what you do: Tell yourself that they are going to lose. That makes it easier for me. Then, if they win, you'll be really happy.

What happened to those 2 Caps? I was watching a game on Center Ice for a few seconds and missed it. Collision?

I love how Chief starts to whine like a baby, and Peckham doesn't seem to give a crap.

Yea but it worked again for me tonight.
Excellent third period. For all the bad things I said about them tonight they completely redeemed themselves.
Note to Torts: KEEP VINNY P. ON THAT LINE!!!

They really got dominated in the 2nd by the Caps and except for that last second goal I would have said they weathered the storm pretty well. That last second goal hurt but they answered well in the third period and did not look like they were clinging on for life.
Marty's goal was awesome. There was nothing there and he gets it past one of the best goalies out there. Vinny4 scores 2 goals againist this guy and then misses the empty net. I bet he got alot of ribbing in the dressing room for that!
Seems we always get the Sabres after they have had a sloppy loss. Last time FL kicked their butts and then they came out with something to prove againist us (and they proved it much to my chagrin!). Now they have a sloppy loss to Toronto.
Holmer was certainly not on the top of his game but played well enough to win. That is all that matters. I remember Khabi doing similiar things. He was not the Bulin wall every night but he kept them in it most nights.
Now Denis (if he starts) needs to step up and answer. We need both these goalies going if we are going to go anywhere post season. I see second half of the sesaon being a dogfight in the east. They are all so close (except Buffalo).
