Could you imagine them putting all the time back on the clock if it was in fact a goal?

Agree. It looked like he closed his legs as an after thought, just as the puck squeezed through, wasn't covering the crotch shot.

Great job, Armstrong. He saw that Tverdovsky pinched and did he get back to cover for him, like he should've? No.

I dont blam Garon so much when the shooter is inside the left circle 15 feet out shooting uncontested.

I take back what I said about Tverdovsky as well. Not smart.

I dunno, from the replays Garon stayed square. It got through when he was ready for it.

It actually went under his glove and over his right leg. Almost seven-hole. Sopel made the right play by letting Bell have the shot. Garon's job is to stop that shot, especially if it isn't ticketed for a corner.

My eyes are foolin' me then from the angle of the replay, but he should've had it. Garon didn't appear to be fooled by the 2 on 1 and he seemed ready to face that shot, just didn't complete play.

I thought it went five-hole originally, but the replay from behind the net in the corner showed it going under his arm.

I agree with dabeechman that it's hard to blame Garon when the shot is from so close. It's really hard to react more quickly than it takes for the puck to travel such a short distance.

Is it me, or is Conroy just flat-out bad now? Avery made a nice play to get him that puck on the breakout, and he took an eternity to do something with it, and consequentially turned the puck over.

Thus my eyes fooling me. I am near sighted and the TV is 10ft away. I can barely read the score. lol Once the puck gets to the dark jerseys, I'm screwed. I should really put my glasses back on.
