You'll have to forgive me. The last time I saw him play was roughly 2 years ago, and he was still playing minor hockey for the Cleveland Barons AAA ( I played against him in fact), but what I remember was that he was solid in every area...but not spectacular. You never used to notice him during the game, but he'd always show up with a couple points on the scoresheet every night. Nice all around player and had a good head for the game.
I too have played against him when he as skating with the Barons, and I have a buddy who played with him on the NTDP. From what I have seen and heard Pensfan's analysis of him is dead on. Smart player who is good everywhere in the game. I know OSU is happy to have him coming there and I think he will be a solid forward for them in the upcoming years.
