I'm thinking Brust.

I don't think DL is planning on going with a Brust/Fukufuji tandem for the rest of the season.

Brust is fine. I went to the team LA store to return some stuff. And they were on the ice him and Randford. Marty Murray and Ivannans were shooting on him. He was smiling and laughing having a good time. Not to say hes not hurt. But he didnt look it thats for sure.

Was there anyone else there though? As in coaches because I think they would have left for St. Louis already but maybe not.

Foxy said last night they may call up Fukufji to get him some playing time. They will probably rotate the two to get them some playing time and make sure not to overuse Garon. Lots of games coming up.

I didn't think they had an available roster spot?

Senior moment time for me - it it 22 or 23 roster spots that they are allowed to have? The Kings currently have 22 on the active roster.

They're allowed 23. (Weaver still counts toward the active roster)

I believe Cloutier is already on IR. I don't recall if the Kings used both or just one of their goaltender exemptions for Fuji last time he was up...

Who would have thought that Fukufuji would get a shot this year?

Man I am going to have to tell all my relatives about this. Being as they are all Japanese Americans..... Maybe now they will actually care about hockey.

Well Weaver is already in Manchester....Dallman hasn't played in awhile....Murray is too cheap to get rid of....Ivanans smash....

Willsie should be the one to waivers if anyone is sent packing. Perfect vet for Manchester.

Looking at the previous Fukufuji transactions, the Kings might have one 48-hr goaltender exemption left. Just seems a bit odd that they'd use it now with so many games left.

My thought on a player being waived was Weaver although he's certainly not contributed to most of the Kings problems, he hasn't helped them much either...

Not that much. Half the year is over and it is the last year of his contract...

Just depends on if you dislike someone enough to just put them on the scratched list or would you rather them just stay at home? Either way they aren't going to see all that much ice time.

Paying a guy 2.5 million to play in the minors is pretty tough to swallow....

You might get a bite on re-entry waivers, but still doubtful.

Isn't only 1.25 now right? Or did he have a 5m a year contract?
