*The most scouts ever were in the Big V this past Wednesday, shedding even more light on the Kings and New York Rangers kicking into deal mode. The Kings are supposedly looking for a big, strong top-six scorer.*
Interesting. I wonder who they were looking at. This is the first I have heard of this maybe some of you have heard something. Some Monarchs fans dont think much of the writer. I guess time will tell.
Anyway, I would guess that we were looking at Carter. He and Allison have history in Boston, and Carter makes his summer home in LA.
Lindros I guess is a possibility, but why? Don't we have enough damaged goods on this team already. I mean, afterall we did just add Straka who's not ever going to be in the running for the "ironman" award.

Doubt if we add another forward, if anything a top defenceman a tough one.

yeah but the question is who would the kings want that they can afford...they're adding more than $4M to the payroll with the acquisition of straka already. i don't know what vlad malakhov makes as far as salary but he would be a good addition to the kings defense...even though it may be just for this year as he is 35 y.o.

That answer is inextricably contingent upon the type of life being led... and, of course, the quality of the pancakes.

I would rather keep the team the way it is and just hope everyone comes back from injuries. however i only said that if we are going to make a trade I would rather have it be a tough defenceman even though we might not need it since Norton comes back in about a month.
as you posted this on LGK, and as I replied on LGK... Bill O'Flaherty, Kings Director of Player Personnel was interviewed on the radio broadcast of that Monarchs game, and he mentioned that there were at least 10 different NHL scouts in the crowd that night, and the simple reason was... there were NO OTHER games in the entire New England area, so... they all went to see the Narchs and the Wolfpack.

Thanks for the update. Now I know why the Monarchs fans dont like the writer.
