Has a hefty contract, but would love to see him in OILER threads!

Smyth Peca Hemsky

Peca can bail both them out on the defensive part of the game and let Hemmer and Smytty just RUN AND GUN.

Still a big contract though.

Wait a minute did'nt Comrie make 4.5 million last year?

INTERESTING

Everyone hates Comrie... yet they want Peca.

Am I the only one baffled by this? This is the same Peca who has now twice decided that he doesn't want to play for his current team. When the going gets tough with him, he wants out of town.

Thanks but no thanks.

Yeah but Peca DID play in the Spengler Cup when he held out

Your right Dawgbone I would be surprised to see this happen.

Peca would be a good replacement for Marchant. Not at 4.5 mil though.

I like the Peca for Comrie idea but it would never happen. Another question is Peca over paid at 4.5m?

Everyone cross their fingers for the Isles to lose to the Rag$ tonight, if they lose bad Milbury will almost certainly make a trade (hopefully a lob-sided one with us). I am pretty sure Lowe would like Robert Nilsson .

3-0 Rangers vs Isles in the 2nd maybe they would make a nice trade partner. I would love to see the polish prince back in these parts. I know he is soft - but he is lighting it up this year and has always had ridiculous talent. The Isles have some good players that may be easily had after the dismantling that is predicted.

i would not mind if peca was traded here, but of course not for that ridiculous amount of money he is getting paid. scatchard might be a good idea packaged with a defenseman.
