I've seen almost all Ottawa games, and I wasn't sure, until I checked on TSN

IMO, he should attemt playing as a forward though...

After watching about 10 Sens games this season, I can tell you unequivocally that he is not a defenseman. He is however a fantastic whiner. What a cry baby the guy is. "I'm not a minus defenseman." Suck it up princess.

FYI - Ottawa and Edmonton are not good trading partners. We need D and Ottawa isn't giving it up. They have no reason to.

Here's bold for you ...

Smyth for Meszaros ... or at least those building blocks for the deal anyways, then add in prospects and picks to even everything out.

Salary wouldn't work out, and Ottawa wouldn't trade a future all-star for a UFA

I can't see Lowe dealing Smyth. Wouldnt expect him return to the team if that happened. That said, I could see a deal like that working - the Sens are weak at LW and if the Oil threw in MAB, it might work.

Smyth and Bergeron

Meszaros and 2nd

Pipedreams.

only a sens fan would think Lupul for Corvo would be a fair trade

oilers will not trade Lupup for a 30 year old who has had one fair season

as for the Schafer for Lupul

Scheafer gets his points from those who he plays with

Nucks ran him out of town for good reason

Trading Lupul will be a big mistake and I really hope the Oilers don't give up on him. I think we trade some of the picks from the FCP deal for a d-man.

If Lupuls name is in trade proposals then the names on the other side better include players better then Corvo, I wouldn't trade you Bergeron for Corvo.

The names on the other side should be Priessing or Redden or Mezsaros, not Schafer and Corvo.

I am interested in Priessing though, whats his contract status, FA or signed long term?

I totally disagree. Schaefer has really good hands and is a good skater and generally gets zero PP time and still ends up with near forty points a year.

Not for Lupul, but Schaefer is a very good player.
