I guess MacT feels riding a 36/37 year old is the only option. When you see Roli throw his stick 20 feet in the air, making Hejda feel like **** in the process that might be the first clue that Roli could be "effected" by the workload. We have one of the better backups in the NHL. MacT waits so long between starting roli and Juice that the one game Juice plays a month he is out of sync. If you have no confidence in your back up trade him and bring up JDD.

A small part of me wants Roli to go down with injury/fatigue just so 99% of fans could tell MacT "i told you so".

Here is to Roli staying phsyically fresh and healthy, because mentally he doesn't look like the same goalie. He used to look so calm in warmups almost trance like.. now it looks like he has developed somekind of nervous twitch (a possible sign he is partying too much with Raffi)

I agree that Mac T is riding him too hard but I wouldn't be suprised if Roli is requesting to play just because of the fact its his old team....I know I'd wanna play everytime against my old team after they decided to go with the other guy over me.

Better team since we apparently (obviously) have the better fans.

I foresee a 4-1 destruction o the Wild:

Horcoff
Torres
Stoll
Smyth

Wild:
Carney (because he's gonna turn into an offensive dynamo from now on)

If not that, then just a crap load of effort, and Manny Fernandez steals another one for the Wilderian one's.

My prediction. Winchester takes the puck wide, and to the net all night long. Creates scoring chances on his 6 minutes of play while drawing 2 penaltys and playing even..... then will sit out the next game.

Winchester has been the most consistant oiler all year and I don't understand why he goes in and out of the lineup while someone like Petersen can play 10+ games with Hemsky. Please don't say "Petersen brings a defensive player the line" because that is just a part of a bigger problem.

Toby is in his hometown tonight so if he can't bring it tonight please send him back to Iowa. It's one thing to lose going out swinging, it's another to lose with defensive specialists.

Game is ok for a Wild Oilers game. Not saying it is a game of the year, but so far I haven't fallen asleep

Tom Gilbert = The solution to our PP problems

Aren't we due for a break or 9?

I'm going to take this time to say that Gilbert has looked GREAT so far on the PP. Unfortunately, while I do mean that, he has only touched the puck for two plays. It's just fun to be optimistic for a change.

1-0 , Gilbert scores in OT

I predict Gilbert will average 3 PP points a game for the rest of the season and top Scott Niedermayer in voting for the Norris Trophy, but lose by 71 votes to Evgeni Malkin for the Calder.
