Im glad Jonson is off the 1st line, and Kovalev is not with Samy. But I would of like Higgins with Plec.

I'll be happy if the Habs can score a couple of goals. I don't think they'll win but let's hope I'm wrong.

I'm guessing a big game for Higgins tonight, two goals for him.

GO HABS GO!!!

Tonight is a brand new start guys!! BTW did we see a Latendresse-Pleks-Kovy line before (I mean at the start of a game, not as a result of Carbo's mix-and-match strategy) ?!?

I like the lines. Going back to basics, the Koivu line was a great line before, Kovalev is separated from Samsonov, Latendresse who is playing good, is not on the 4th. I think it's a good start. Later on, better lines could mean swapping Higgins on the 2nd, Samsonov on the 1st and Latendresse on the 3rd. It's time that Samsonov plays, and plays a lot. Let's see the type of character he has after this.

Definately a win tonight. 4-1

Go Habs!

I agree. I understand the whole theory behind not rewarding a guy for playing like crap, but now is different. The whole team is playing like crap. It's not like Higgins is doing a whole lot. I love that Kovalev and Samsonov have finally been broken up, but I want to see Samsonov paired with Koivu on that top line for a game or two. Carbo's tried everything else so I don't get why he won't try that.

2-1 Habs in OT/Shootout. We're going to have a slow climb back up the mountain.

I like those lines. Samsonov needs to play with complementary players.

I'd sooner see Plekanec and Koivu swap places, but I'll live.

The lines aren't bad...not a fan of Samsonov on the 3rd though

Either way, it's time for some stability, so hopefully Carbonneau stays with theses lines tonight.

I wonder if Streit will move back to defence once Bégin returns???

Ryder's a bit of a Thrashers killer this year and last year. I expect him to at least score and maybe chip in an assist

I like those lines, putting Samsonov with Bonk and Johnson is going to help him I think. They're solid fundamentally and I think they can compliment him well.
