HAHA Rachunek just TOSSED the net into the boards after Hossa finally scored. That was classic.

So, um, when do the Rangers start bringing up some kids from Hartford to provide the necessary spark? Eh, who am I kidding, lets go get Rucinsky!

if the Leafs beat the Pens tonight, the Rangers could be out of the playoffs by the end of the night. Lets go Pens

Another well coached game by Coach Renney. Krog was horrible on the 2nd line and Prucha looked great with his limited time on the 4th line. Keep it up Renney!

I can't believe they are still in the playoffs at this point.

I enjoyed that. Funny thing is that he fell afterwards which is a microcosm of how the Rangers season has been. Hilariously painful.

This team is so poorly coached right now. I'm sorry, these line combos are embarassing. Ortmeyer was flying all over the ice today, getting scoring chances, but that doesn't mean he can bury it.

This team just can't score goals..

This is the worst coached team we've had around here in a long time...

I caught the last minute of the Devil game. They were down by a goal and put a ton of pressure on the Flyers and were able to score a goal. They showed a lot of heart.

The Rangers showed absolutely NO heart in the final few minutes after getting scored on.

That is the difference between a winning team and a losing team.

although the effort was more or less there, i wasnt happy with a lot of things i saw out there.

almost all the shots where Brodeuresque shots. where its from a weird angle, with nobody in front.

And classic Rachunek, he then fell down. Rachunek can't even handle the net.

Renney is an idiot! You would think the powerplay units would have been changed up a little more, Prucha gets shots ongoal while playing with Jagr, so why do that more often:? My name is tom renneu and im an idiot.

This team has been searching for an identity for years. I wonder when they will find it.

I guess that was to make up for the fact that he didn't skate hard getting back to the Rangers zone.

Damn, we sure did a great job building the confidence of the Thrasher's PK units.

It's so bad, it was funny waiting for ANY Ranger to get in the picture while Hossa slowly picked the puck off the boards and scored unmolested.

As I said earlier, heartless.

One minute left....

and Ortmeyer's out there.

Cullen and Shanny take a shift with Ortmeyer late in the third (no Prucha, who seemed to shoot today).

Malik on a crucial, late PP. Malik in late when trying to find a goal.

Nylander failing twice to make a pass that makes sense.

Failing to capitalize on a gift 5-on-3 and other PP opps.

The Thrashers seemed to own the Rangers. Their defense was lacking all game. Lundqvist stood on his head, and luckily the Thrashers' forwards had difficulty converting some opps (especially Mellanby).

This team's home record is pathetic and are likely looking at the playoffs from the outside going into the All Star Break.

Agreed FLY....

Krog looked out of place as a second liner. Still can't believe the praise he received in the pregame - truly amazing. I don't like to judge people on one game, but this kid's 32 years old.

Amazing how soft it's getting. Today was one of the most ridiculously officiated games I've watched in a while. Every bump is a penalty, every slap is a penalty, every contact with the stick is a penalty. SERIOUSLY....CUT IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention, they've got the puck in the attacking zone with under 2 minutes, and Henke is still in the net. Then the next chance they get to pull the goalie, there's only 35 seconds left. Renney has no clue when to pull the goalie.

BTW, can Cullen ever spend a game without falling down. The guy may skate fast, but he has no balance or strength on the his skates whatsoever. That is becoming a disaster of a signing.
