GDT 1/20 ATL @ NYR The Krog Bowl

The Thrashers had him, the Rangers have him. I suspect the Rangers won't have him for long.

It would be nice to head into the All Star break on a positive note.

Quiet crowd today at MSG, but the Thrashers are playing pretty well.

Kovalchuk looks like he's on a mission today to get some more goals... Had quite a few nice rushes already so far

Mellanby just wiffed on one in the PP...

Fun game to watch, up and down action all night.

Poor Exelby was getting abused by Jagr all game long.

Vigier-Holik-Larsen had a great shift at the end of the 3rd to keep the puck in the Rangers zone.

Hossa with the empty netter to secure the 3-1 win.

I'm just glad I actually got to watch this afternoon game (don't think the Ottawa one was televised - or if it was I wasn't home to watch it anyway). Gotta agree with the Rags fans on the officiating though, it was about as even as you can get but the stuff that was getting called was redicuously weak. Good first period, boring second period, good third period (still can't beleive that Kovy shot went in - all thanks to Lundqvist's stick of course).

PP looked a little better, seems like they've swapped the whole 'pass to Kovy for the slapshot from the point' plan in favor of the 'pass to Kovy for the fake slapshot and then down to Kozzy or Mell to jam it in' (too bad the one good chance we got, Mell totally whiffed on it). We definately needed this win though, Jersey won in a SO to stay one point ahead of us but Florida did beat the Caps.

Just came home, I was at a football (soccer) tournament all day...

Busted my knee, the 3rd time in 5 months, prognossis again:
Sprained knee ligaments... the funny thing is that whenever I strain my ligaments I can walk normally, run too, but when I change direction suddenly and try to dribble my knee just falls out...
I have to restrain playing this time untill it fully heals, about six months... I have gotten enough warnings, because next time will probably be a surgery and I wont be able to walk for about a year, who wants that...

The good news is we won, Hoss and Kovy scored...yay!!!

Good luck healing. By the looks of your avatar, you're changing directions pretty well still.
