Proposal - MTL - CLB

To MTL:
David Vyborny (2.2 M)
Assets: Has excellent vision on the ice, skates very well and makes quick, sharp passes. Can score highlight-reel goals. Owns leadership qualities

To CLB:
Michael Ryder (2.2 M)
Assets: Displays sound positioning and the ability to get into open areas to score goals. Owns a lethal shot from the slot area and a goal-scorer's mentality.

CLB is outta the playoff race, and they need to make some changes...

vyborny plays RW and C and he can set up his linemates very nicely..

I like it from Montreal perspective, and honestly this is a pretty fair deal. Right now Vyborny little more talented, Ryder younger

a nice thought... and a very good player. I think the CBJ fans love Vyborny... they'll be against it... my only concern is it could leave us with a lot of playmakers and not enough goal scoring... it's a good proposal in reality.

And I think Vyborny is signed for a while! I would add a good pick if we have to...I would be all for it!

From a Hab point of view I would for sure do it. But Vyborny is CLBs most valuable player after nash. I cant see them even consindering this and also he is worth more than ryder.

Vyborny is amazing and always picks up points I always draft him in fantasy. His vision, puck handling and shot are all above average.

I wouldn't do it, with RYder's performance this year we should be able to sign him longterm for a very competitive price this summer.

I'd do it, but I doubt Colombus would. He's a leader to them and he's been playing for them since the beginning of the concession.

exactly. Like we need another Kovalev on the roster (though Vyborny doesn't have Kovy's wristshot). I'd rather stick it out with Ryder.

Well, we can give them Lats. They just have to give us Nash. Then, it's a done deal.

not a good deal. vybourny is a playmaker... we have enough of those already. Ryder is a goal scorer, something we r short on and need more of. i dont know y u guys r all about getting rid of him. he gives his heart every game.

the only above average playmaker on our team is koivu right now...we HAVE goal scorers (kovalev, samsonov, perez) that could use some good playmaking so they can produce more....columbus in outta the plaoff race and they should start thinking young...

Nash-Fedorov-Ryder

Didn't know Vyborny could play C, maybe...just MAYBE, he could be the answer to the Habs 2nd line problems?

Well he sure is an excellent face-off man, with a shocking 38.8% win rate. Perrault he is not, in the face-off circle.

What problems? Our 2nd line has been our best line recently, and Plekanec is on fiyah.

Agreed, for the time being, we no longer have a problem on line 2.

Kovy and Pleks have found eachothers mojo, and Latendresse is the perfect compliment to their style.
