Chris Gratton, Brian Savage, and Brad Ference for Peca and Jonsson? You're kidding right?
Isles would have no interest in Savage($3m).He makes even more then Parrish and won't score any more then Parrish.
Gratton's another Izzy.
Ference is the only thing of interest and I doubt they want him badly enough to move either Peca or Jonsson.
I doubt MM is interested in moving Kvasha, although Grahame's playing well and would be an improvemnet on Snow.
- If they trade Peca, and it looks like they probably will, they have to find a good playmaking 2nd line center.
- They need to heavily pursue UFA Cliff Ronning too. I know UFA's of any substance are not the isles style, but he'd add stability to the team with all the much needed experience he brings. They'd also have to pick up another top-6 besides Ronning...Satan possibly?
- And if they're dealing Hamrlik, maybe the could get a guy like Kaberle? A real PP QB who can get 50 points. Either that or they hope Niinimaa can QB the PP and pick up a bruising blueliner.
Being in more players with a winning, gamer attitudes. Guys who's focus is on winning the Stanley Cup, not returning to Sweden, not getting the coach fired, not on padding their offensive numbers, etc.
Clear the losing environment that is NYI, an overall negative climate that brings down, brings out the worse, in otherwise highly reputable NHL players. Do that by re-evaluating your management.

kind of a precarious situation...
players won over the coach last year.
if you fire MM, do players win over GM?
if you fire Sterling, do players win over coach AGAIN?
If you trade Peca, does the team win by his removal?
