I didn't really understand your initial post so I'll just post my thoughts.

If Bergeron was anywhere near as good as McCabe even, this team would have a few more wins (not to mention a better PP).

I was a supporter but his PP and offensive potential isn't worth the heart failure everytime he tries to make an outlet pass.

He needs to make quicker and smarter plays, especially on the breakout. Every time he picks up the puck, he hesitates and then makes a turn back into the zone taking all the speed ot of the breakout or makes a cross ice pass that get's picked off. he also needs to be stronger on the puck along the boards.

I know a lot of guys on here like him...but seriously, is he really that good? I love the offense, but see a lot of defensive liability.

Neither. He's Tom Poti with more determination and hitting.

what happened to Nunnymare? But anyways. His defensive skill is nothing and never will be close to Pronger. His shot and brutal defensive play is more likely comparable to McCabe.

just a real nooby trying to have some fun

I thought there was a ban on new people creating discussion for 2 months?

guess the rules changed.

Bergereon does not have the physical presence of Pronger

I don't see the similarities at all. Its like asking is Patrik Thoresen closer to Elias or Selanne?
