Stick & Puck in the Toronto Area

Hey there, does anyone from the GTA know of any arenas or rink locations that offer stick and puck sessions? The only I know of is Canlan. I am just looking for a casual, no-game atmosphere where I can practice some stick handling and shooting drills.

Right now is prime time for all of the City of Toronto outdoor rinks. Most of them have drop-in/shinny slots where you can just mess around on your own. Depending on your schedule, if you're able to go during the day time during the work week, you may end up getting the whole sheet to yourself.

Here's a list of locations:

I am looking to attend my first shinny on lunch at either Canlan York or the Vaughan Iceplex. How does it typically work with these? Enough people and you have a game and if not it's just a stick & puck free for all?

I am looking to practice some skills and take shots on net. I am not ready for game play just yet and it seems very difficult to find a rink with nets that you can just mess around with actual game play.

Al paladini and sports village to shinny during the day you're from vaughan so I assume you're close to these arenas

At Canlan stick and puck you just shoot and skate around. No games. No one wears equiptment, only helmets, bring your own pucks, you'll probably lose some.
