Boucher

I was thinking Boucher is a UFA...Maybe he will want to come closer to his family and sign with Montreal. He would be a legit replacement for both Souray and Rivet...then we sign Markov. Not saying its gonna happen...just saying its possible....he would make up for the loss of Souray with some offense and Rivet with leadership, if we would sign him it would pretty much be like getting two birds stoned at once haha
Either him or Stuart would be the guys I'd target

Stars gave Boucher a 3year extension in 2006 (7.5$M)

so he's signed till 2009

ya i think thats a great idea...but whats his contract like? i know he gets 2.5 this year....but wen does it end?
and if it ends this season, then he will be asking for a lot of money considering he is having a career year....
great idea though...

I would love to see Boucher in a Habs jersey.....but 2.5 a year???

Are there a lot of UFA defensemen next year??? Because that does seem kind of low. You can almost see a team throwing close to 4 a year for someone who might be an All-star Starter

I don't think Montreal would be considered home for him, he's been in Dallas for a while and if he signed an extension, it's probably because that's his home.
