Fabulous work wintersong, you do realize though that from now on we EXPECT creative brilliance in all your future GDT's...

Sweet GDT. Very creative idea!

I don't understand the plot though - do we win in the end?

ok, I already retired from doing GDTs, but now I doubly retire... je-sus!

I so wish the all-star 'break' was just a three day span of not playing games, I'm so glad we finally are back to the regular season.

I'd threaten another life to insure another Boston win, but all I can think about is slitting a child's throat, and I don't want to come across as some sort of lunatic! though pointing out that that's what's going through my head probably isn't helping matters. ... ok I'm slitting a child's throat if we lose tonight... god help me!

Agree about the great GDT.

If the Sens lose, I imagine a few poeple might think of Hari Kari.

But killing a child? Even as a joke, that doesnt work.

Umm, yeah.

Let's keep the overreactions to losing a hockey game, let alone a regular season game, to a minimum please.

Overall the Sens board has been a little mellow dramatic recently, like bad day time tv melodramatic. I guess a mid season break makes the fans a little stir crazy.

back to the game...sens played a textbook road game before the break and have played well above expectations since #19 went out.

i'm calling a 4-3 sens win.

From TSN, here's your lines:

Forwards
Heatley - Kelly - Alfredsson
Schaefer - Comrie - Neil
Vermette - Spezza - Eaves
Schubert - McAmmond - McGrattan
Hamel - Fisher

Defence
Redden - Meszaros
Volchenkov - Phillips
Corvo - Priessing
Goaltender

Emery

I'll be late for this one, stuck in an election for PC youth, sigh.

Gotta say, I like the look of Vermette-Spezza-Eaves.

Ideally, I hope this line gels, so Fisher could be put back inbetween Neil and Schaefer. I see Eaves as one of the best pure goal scorers on the team and he should really benefit from playing with Spezza.

But, that'd leave Comrie on the fourth-line with Schubert and McAmmond --> I don't see that happenin'.

My guess is Comrie will eventually supplant Kelly on the 1st line, but that is pure speculation on my part.

Spezza is on the 3rd line? what the hell... I guess the last thing Murray wants is the pizza line back together, but... wow. I mean not even 2nd line!

and about the child thing, when we win you'll thank me. though interesting that when I mentioned killing a whole family last game noone batted a eyelash, but single out a child... well anyways... I'm not a bad guy, just... ok I'm a bad guy

I'd just like to see a win so the Leafs fans I live with won't torture me for the next three months until a Sens game is on HNIC again. Losing one of the four and a half televised games = a choke job to end a choke jobs.

I think Murray has done that in the past with Vermette. I guess his intention is to ease him back into the lineup. I gotta say that the personnel that we have now is pretty solid for the top 3 lines for sure and maybe one player away from rolling 4 solid lines.

Now let's see how they all gel together.
