McCollum would be very hard to judge right now for any scout , sure they can do the usual ratings and such but playing in front of Ryan Parent, Drew Doughty would give them a snowy picture.

Take Trevor Cann as an example, he may have a lower save percentage but most scouts will really like him for 22 wins on a rookie team.

Next season will be his statement year if he can continue to lead the league again he will get looks. Mason in London got serious consideration going in the fourth round.

If McCollum retains his present stats two years running he should be a 4th or 5th rnd pic.

Always remember that Goaltending machine of Quebec just keeps churning them out.

And next years draft is very deep in Goalies from the QMHL and WHL.

that is what I was saying next season he will need to put up similar numbers without that D-Grid in front of him. If his numbers drop dramitically it will be viewed he was only solid in front of Blue Chip guys. Should say Guy since Drew will be back next year.

well the way i see it McCollum WILL be one of the higher draft picks. Hes tearing it up in the O. He does have the rest of this season & next season to prove what hes got since he wont be 18 until next December but Tom has a TOn of potential
