Arnott should use his body a little more, I remember games with the Stars when he was crashing the net and smashing bodies against the boards. He is in a little bit different role here, but still should be stepping up and leading this team with a physical presence, in this situation...where we are gettin ran over.

I think Kimmo should be commended for stepping in and playing, with his ailments. I think it's something he might not have done if not for being a captain, but by doing this, is setting an example and showing he is willing to fight for his team even when he isn't 100%. This is the sign of a good captain, among many other things.

Eh, we are fine. There's no telling how many other Predators are suffering the effects of the flu. On many nights, it's us giving the beatdown. Tonight, we just appear pretty weak overall. One game is no biggie. I'd be more concerned if this was a consistent trend.

And we usually temper other teams physical enthusiasm with our speedy play. Tonight, I just don't see it from us. Like I said, it makes sense with the flu running through the team and all having played a close game last night.

Ah, the cross-crease pass. You know it's coming, but you can't defend it.

Catfish time!

The Kariya - Legwand - Erat line is taking over games. Another 2 even strength goals for them.......7 points overall for the three combined.

I must say i felt really nervous about this game (well maybe nervous isnt the right word as we do have a 9 point break on the wings ), with all the reports of the flu hitting the side (kariya, timonen, zids etc) i figured a b2b game down after the 1st period might be too much but this team fought it out and found a way against a team that has been hot and beating everyone home and away except for the preds. was very happy with the result. Still the team kicks along....

Klein just might be the Zanon replacement I have been longing for.

When I saw those 2 paired together I thought the coaches had lost their mind. I was pleasantly suprised at how well they have played over the last 2 games.

Yeah, but look at your d - men in your farm/junior/world development - and see who you are going to develop into a long term starter - and see that Klein is someone whp could jump into someone's lineup now. You'll get something for Klein immediately - if you package him with another prospect and a draft pick...(you might even get something for him and Upshall alone)
