Hi, I was under the impression that Vcash is reset to 500 at the start of a new season.

does it give you 50 automatically when you go below that? because I bet 25 and lost yesterday, bet my other 25 and won 42
so I should have 67, but it gave me an extra 50 so I have 117, surely that's not a big deal though...

If you have 0 vcash at the time a new vbookie event is made, it will automatically give you 50..

Last year I recall tons of parlays, light the lamps, and other special VCASH propositions. This year, not so much. I miss them.

What are the tie rules? After regulation? After overtime?

With the shootout there are no tie games... There is a winner...

Losing a three goal lead isn't going to help...

The only thing I see where you can bet on a tie is the Home Goals and Away goals threads...
I believe on those he adds up the final goals scored for the home teams and away teams.. the OT and SO results would count..
They can end up adding up to the same amout..So, there can be a tie there..

Not individual shootout goals, but the final score...including the results from the shootout.
Just to be clear for anybody wondering.

I'm sure I saw some games that had a tie option - mind you I usually place my wagers at work while the boss isn't looking, so maybe I'm hallucinating in my haste to get it done so I don't get screamed at.

Not since you joined HF, have hockey vBookie's been posted with ties.
Perhaps you're confusing it with soccer?

You can only earn Vcash by winning, unless you get to 0 in which case you will be given 50 "bucks" the next time an event is posted.
A shootout win in hockey is still a win unless the tie option is given but that doesn't happen.

I have followed the steps provided but am unable to bet for some reason. I keep getting this message...
"You may not bet on this event. You have placed 0 bet(s) on this Event."
I have 500 vCash and the event hasnt started yet. Any ideas as to why I cant bet?

You're either trying to bet after the event is closed. Or you have to many infraction points and are banned from making a bet.

For those of you maybe wondering why you have just 500 vCash, the system has been reset for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Everybody starts from scratch.
Good luck with your bets.
