Watching the AHL all star game, Hennessy tried the Vermette between legs goal, the goalie made the save but it was a creative effort.

And they actually play defense, no hitting but defensemen have went down to block shots.

I just found out that I can't watch this game. Sportsnet who usually picks up the A Channel games in the East is showing the AHL all stars game and I don't have RDS. I'm not to happy about this.

Let me take a crack at actually answering the question as to why Fisher is loved so much. I think the best answer is the blend of scoring, heart. and grit he brings. Last year he potted over 20 goals, and this year before his injury was 3rd in the NHL in hits (Neil number 1). With Fisher as a center, and Neil and Schaeffer as his wingers, they formed last year probably the best 3rd line in the NHL: Fish and Schaeff each 20+ goals, Neil 16 goals. How many 3rd lines in the league will give you that many goals scored PLUS that many thundering hits?

Did I get it right? Is that a good answer?

You forgot to mention that hes a stud. Any man can still feel confident in his heterosexuality while admitting to this.

Has anyone noticed the dumb habs fan in the background pointing to his tuque every 3 second and waiving his hand at the camera every chance he gets. He and his wife are both doing it...

Dryden and Tretiak out at centre ice together, the two goalies from the infamous '72 series memorialized in history. Dryden wass amazing, but Tretiak was hasek like, tough call who the better one was.

We cant lose to the habs anymore. They arent that good. Gotta find a way to get the job done Sens. Habs suck!

The Sens are going to be tired for the game tomorrow-less than 24 hours between games.

They should have started the ceremony earlier.
