Man I am pumped for this game now. Hopefully the boys get a win tonight and Craig Conroy has a good game (it would be nice to see him score a goal tonight in his first game back against his old team).
There's a slight chance Iggy will be back in the lineup tonight, but I'd expect to see him on friday or saturday of this week, at least that's what they say on the radio. Regehr is back so Zyuzin should sit. So that leaves Chucky, McCarty, and probably Iggy on the sidelines tonight.

Yeah, I would think we're more likely to see Jarome Iginla come back on Friday or Saturday. But good news to hear Robyn Regehr will be back in the lineup tonight. His presence sure has been missed in the last two games.
The new NHL lovers adore trumpeting the fact that comebacks happen in the NHL now. What they don't tell you is WHY comebacks happen more often; specifically, that the refs automatically call three or four phantom penalties against the team with the lead and allow the opposition chance after chance to make it close.

And if you point it out, that greasy weasel Bettman will cut you off before casual fans have a chance to realize what you're saying.
As an aside, Conroy and Tanguay clicked well today, hopefully they can find themselves a RW and provide some good depth for a Huselius - Langkow - Iginla line.
Conroy really freshens things up in Calgary. Much much more than I imagined he would. The Flames have much more than 6 guys capable of playing in the top 6 slot now. And Friesen/Nilson combo were showing signs of life as well. Just wait till Iggy is back and Langkow is healthy. (Then they may be able to actually win on the road).
Craig Conroy scored more goals in one game as a Flame, than Jamie Lundmark did in 39 games. Is there any questioning whether or not this was a good deal for the Flames?
