Well, another big game. 33 games left. Now its really starting to become crunch time. 9th place looking in, the Rangers should stop worrying about the teams in the division above them and behind. Forget the conference race. Just play each game the same. Hard.
Funny, the Rangers actually have a game in hand on the Devils. Incredible!
Bruins have alot of trade rumors floating over their heads also...Will they come out full of fire and aggression or the just lay down?..I expect the former and a big night from Savard...Gotta get a strong performance from Jagr and the 1st line to win this one...
What's up folks. Figured I'd introduce myself in the game thread. Been a huge Ranger fan since the days of turning the taped together TV dial to channel 9, then adjusting the aluminum foil covered rabbit ears for that perfect, fuzzy picture. Not too happy with this team so far this year but we'll see what happens in the second half.

Go Rangers!
I had that 12 inch TV set too
Welcome Garv(short for Garvin, as in Fred Garvin?).

I noticed that too. Is this the first time in the history of the league that the Rangers had a game-in-hand on anybody this late in the season?
Well, this is another important game. We beat a pretty hapless team saturday by one goal, so I want to see some more offense tonight. A win and we have a little momentum off the break, a loss and it's probably back to square one.
They need to take these points from a team that isnt flying very high right now. If they come out strong, get the puck deep and get shots on net, good things should happen for them tonight. Anyone know who is in net tonight? I'm guessing Lundqvist, but Weekes hasnt played in a while either, so it wouldnt be out of question to see him tonight.
This game better be a good one. I'll be flipping back and forth between this and the AHL All-Star game tonight, however. With that being said...
GO RANGERS!
who is in net?? I think tonight would be a great time to put Weekes in. He has not played much and it would give Lundqvist a rest before the game vs the Leafs.
yea when it is in Toronto. The Leafs game is at Home. I say play Weekes tonight. At least against a not so good team, we remember the last Rangers Leafs game. I hope we trade for Tucker. Id take him at the 2ed line centre/wing.

Welcome aboard Garv.
Are my eyes deceiving me or do we actually have games in hand on a few teams???? I don't think I've seen that the last 8 years?
