It's really hard to not be happy with Conroy returning when you see how happy he is about returning.

Lundmark has been far from "not all that bad". He is more of a liability than an asset in this deal.

If thats the price for conroy a 4th line "somewhat-youngster", a 2nd and 4th, I think you can elevate all those 1 level for forsberg: a 3rd liner/3rd pairing dman and a 1st and a 3rd. I think this kind of sets the bar.

NO OFFENCE TO WHOEVER WROTE THIS BUT NOW THAT CONROY'S DEAL IS DONE.WHAT THIS DOES IS MAKES OTHER PLAYERS MORE EXPENSIVE.AS THE LIST OF PLAYERS SHORTINS,THE MORE TEAMS ARE DEMANDING TO THE END ESPEACIALLY IN THE CENTRE POSITION{FORESBURGE}

So this is what Jamie Lundmark has become, a salary dump! Keep thinking the same way Jamie!

Good for Conroy; moving from a loser to a winner. I can see why Lundmark is nicknamed 'Skidmark.'

Good for Conroy. If he was able to do this in LA, he would have still been wearing purple tonight.

He does seem to be happy. If he can carry that joy till the end of the season, the Flames will have made one hell of a deal. Now lets get Iggy/Kobasew and maybe Langkow back and we will have something.

his ability doesnt just pop up overnight... it has more to do with the fact he was being mis-used this season... he was stuck in a 3rd/4th line role the majorty of the season... the kings are rebuilding and have to give the young players icetime in order for them to develop... Conroy was a victim of circumstance

People who think that this move takes the Flames out of the Forsberg runnings or atleast the Tucker, Nagy "Big Fish" runnings are wrong...

we still have about 2.5 million in cap space and we are getting cap relief now on Kobasew, McCarty and we might get a little on Iginla(which is huge considering he makes 7.5 mill)

Injury cap relief will eat up a significant proportion of what we gained salary wise with Conroy...

It was a great deal and the Flames are still going to IMO add an impact forward and a defencemen...

I didn't think Iginla was ever officially put on the IR by the team. Was he?

The reason why he was on those lines is because he wasn't producing early in the season when being given the chance to play a top role.

Conroy played like Roenick in LA...you could tell that he just wanted to move on.

He seemed to be okay last season what changed?

On Sportsnet he said he never played on the PK or Powerplay (or very rarely) I found that very odd. Considering LA's Powerplay is almost the worst in the league.
