Went with Dupont in this round, just like the last. (I think he should be higher than both Immonen and Girardi; maybe he gets there once the Forsberg deal is completed. ) Add Graham.

Awards:
I said it like 15 minutes ago, but again, Dane Byers.

Add Bruce Graham, he's been solid in the ECHL.

I went with Greg Moore. He is struggling some in the AHL, but the potential is there.

His skating is a big questionmark. He can build up really good speed, but natrually for someone 230 lbs it just takes a while for him to get gooing. I think there are some aspects there he could work on, it looks like he kind of puts the entire length of his skate (blade) to the ice instead pushing of connecting with his toes first, which gives you better acceleration.

I think we all had high hopes on Greg gooing into this season and after seeing him in camp, but its obvious just how important speed is in the game today...

Have never seen Dupont play. How is his skating?

wow jessiman is going to fall right off the board isn't he. 22 year old first round pick should probably stay in the top 20 no matter how bad a season he's having

It's more then just a single season, he has not improved (some may say he has declined) since he has been drafted 3 years ago.

Right now, he's being outplayed in Charlotte by Graham and Bahensky.

I haven't seen any Charlotte games, and offensive numbers obviously aren't everything... Graham is certainly putting up good numbers down there, but but Bahensky has 8G, 11A, 19P, in 36(!)GP. Hugh has 6G, 7A, 13P in his 11 games with Charlotte. Thats only 2 less goals, 6 less points in 25 (!) less games played. Am I missing something? No knock on Bahensky... just curious of your reasoning.

Eh, ok, I wasn't up-to-date on Jessiman's numbers. Still, a former #1 pick in one of the deepest 1st rounds in years shouldn't be dwelling in the the NHL equivalent of Double A.

Yeah, I agree... in the top half of the round, nonetheless.

I wish Sather or Maloney would explain for that pick and their excuse to mess it up other than Brian Boyle who is still in college, Jessiman the only player to not have played in one NHL game so far from the 2003 draft. THAT IS HORRIBLE SCOUTING.
