Let's just have fun with this while we have it.

If that is the case, why not?

Carpe Diem applies here.

You have your sniper in Prucha.

Your skater in Cullen.

Your grinder in Ortmeyer.

All 3 play totally different styles and mesh perfectly. Fast as ****, too.
I question how differant Prucha and cullen are. Both are fast skaters who look to shoot first.

I like Prucha better in the crease while Cullen's the better skater.

The problem is that neither Prucha or Cullen are natural playmakers, and we know that Ortmeyer isn't either. If they play with the speed and intensity that they did tonight then this will not be a problem, but so far we've only seen them play against 2 weak teams.

I loved watching the three play tonight and I hope they keep it up, but they are by no means a complete line and I"m going to need to see them do this against better teams.

This line needs to stay together at all costs! Awesome awesome effort by these guys over the past two games, granted they havent been playing Stanley Cup calibre teams, but its games like these that give your players confidence and could/should lead to good things.

Never really dug the line nicknames but that COP thing is funny, especially since JD used to always want to call them when someone stole thier legs.

Great pic hahaha

...

Now if only we could finally call up Immonen, we could have 4 good lines:

Straka - Nylander - Jagr

Hossa - Immonen - Shanahan

Prucha - Cullen - Ortmayer

Hollweg - Betts - Ward

How's that guys?

I highly doubt that will work. Hossa and Immonen with Shanny? come'on! Didn't Shanahan basically say "i don't want to play with that guy"? Maybe I'm misinformed. Sadly, Jason Krog has had a way better season than Immonen has had. He's our best option at the moment.

I believe it was Balej that responded to my thoughts on Prucha moving up. History has shown that after playing a good game Tom likes to reward his players by removing them from the line where they had success and placing them higher in the chart. He's going to look to reward Petr for his good play (some sort of misguided psychological game) by taking him off the 3rd and putting him on the 2nd. Thus, ruining the chemistry and momentum Prucha is gaining and also adding much of the same old to the 2nd line that hasn't produced anything for a great deal of time.

In Tom's head it makes perfect sense.

Who wants to take bets that this line will last more than one or two more games? The only line that sticks on this team is Straka-Nyls-Jagr.

ahah! but why should he reward Prucha when Ortmeyer and Cullen also had three point nights? By this logic no one should be promoted because it wouldn't be fair to the other two.
