Ovechkin could wear thirty visors, and he still wouldn't be able to see a hole in Gerber's game

Don't rule out Gerber. Last year, Cam Ward wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire during the regular season and Roloson didn't look so hot after being traded to Edmonton.

Its kelly's lines also because when OV gets on the ice, the coach yells, kelly, your line up.

Well. Credit given where it's due.
Kelly is pretty good at redirections.

Okay, I retract my statement. He didn't deflect it.

Washington player fell after realizing it's Gerber he's facing, better to faceplant than risk the momentum built up by a Gerber save.

No worries, Gerber looked awkwardly out of position on that last rush.

nhl.com credit Alfie with assists to Heater and Preissing. Even if they change it Heater will still get a point - he's creeping up again.

They thought Kelly may have deflected last nite's goal, but then decided he didn't...tonite too they thought he may have deflected Alfie's shot, but he didn't. Guess Kelly ought to be called the 'almost-deflector' or 'near scorer'....too bad, he has 9 goals and I want him to get the tenth. Just a pet peeve of mine: I HATE it when people end up with, like 8-9 goals, or 18-19 ...just add one or too, please, and make it an even 10 or 20 !!

Gerber looked like Emery on the over-commitment.
EDIT: that was Alfredsson's goal. Puck dropped before it arrived at Kelly. It went off the Capitals defensemen. That's why Kolzig snapped.
