why would edmonton want tucker? they should be more concern about getting their puck moving defenceman.

Getting Tucker, for the right price, would allow them to move a guy like Torres for said puck moving defender..

The main thing Darcy Tucker would help out on and be useful at would be our PP and PK. Aside from that, he's not worth it and I wouldn't be willing to get rid of any of our key players for that dirt bag. For what he'll likely cost, the Flames can find a much better player.

Let the Oilers have him. I can never have too many reasons to hate them. lol.

Tucker would be a fantastic pick but if he wants like 5million a year like people say then no thanks. Besides, the Laughs would probably ask for too much for him anyways. I like the way our lines are stacking up now after getting Conroy!

Now let's just get some D...

By the way, this Tucker story breaks this morning and it's big news. Then, a few hours later, real news about the trade breaks. Just goes to show you how far off the media can be.

I think Darcy Tucker will most likely end up staying in Toronto. He's already made it clear he doesn't want to leave, and I don't think the Maple Leafs want to get rid of him, from the vibe I've gotten, so I'm sure they'll try and work something out in order to keep him.

I agree and I don't think were in it now because of the Conroy trade yesterday but you made some real good points

We do not need to go anywhere near Tucker. Hello, we already a 4.5mil LW in Tanguay and thats the kind of salary Tucker wants. Beside what line would he play on, the 3rd? Personally I really like Huselius as of late, and Tanguay still hasn't reached his full stride yet. If anything we should get a good energy LW to play on the 3rd line. We are already set at LW on the top two lines.
