if Chia can get a 1st rounder for Murray then it would be best trade by the Bruins since gettin Neely.Murray is the most 1 dimensional player i have ever saw.

Maybe, but he has 23 goals on a poor team and has hit 40 a couple times before,Crosby would set him up I'm sure for at least a few.

Considering some of the players that have fecthed second rounders, i would be shopping him for a first from anyone at this point (even if its next years draft)

its his contract i think that would be an issue

LA got a player and 2 picks for Conroy. He is slighly older than Murray, but also cheaper (2.5 vs 4.1). I think Murray is a better player in the right situation.

I would hope for a 2nd and a good young prospect/young 3rd line player? Too much?

I'd say no to the young prospect (we have a enough as it now to try and fit into the line up so far) and hol dout for a first rounder.

Yes, I'd be disappointed if we didn't receive at least a 1st rounder or similar value for him.

We have enough unprooven talent. This team needs PROOVEN talent in order to progress.

If you deal Murray trade him for something useful other then picks or prospects. Unless your trading him for a pick as a precourser to a bigger trade.

Part of trading him is to clear the salary as well, so ya, unless its a first and a proven top two line younger cheaper scorer (dont see that happening) or top young D man (proven, cause we still have Lashoff and stuart) then i am happy with top picks down the road.

As long as I don't hear the word prospect and I hear that they are dumping him for the picks to clear space for someone else, then I'm for it and I think with the right team you could get a first rounder.

You trade Murray for prospects and picks and then sign a free-agent in the off-season. Who cares if they fill his spot this season? The Bruins are toast.

Dosn't necessarily mean you can't replace him now.

I know if I was a FA I wouldn't want to sign with the Bruins after looking at them in the last couple years. The only way you get someone may be via trade.

Pens fan. I doubt you'll get the pens to bite on Murray. Salary is too high considering our ownership situation, and a 1st or one of our D prospects (which is our thin spot), Gogs/Letang/Welch won't be involved either. Just my .02.

That's why the Pens won't Murray.

I'd say a 3rd and a decent sized contract coming back....Remember, Murray has TWO more years left at 4.1 mil apiece...

He is a wishy-washy sniper at best, who lights it up for 10 games, then disappears for 20. He doesnt hit either.....

I doubt he'd fetch a 1st rounder. I'd target Detroit. We may be able to land Hudler or a 2nd-3rd for him but that's about it. .

If we could get Helm out of Detroit I would be happy.

He is a scorer and is having his bes tseason for a while. He is worth a first or at least a potential top six forward plus a draft pick.
Any less and Boston should hang onto him.

I think it is crucial for the B's to get rid of his Salary. I like the guy a lot, but in this cap era it just doesn't make sense.

Can he fetch a first. Yes. Think of last year at the trade deadline of who fetched a first. From whom? Not sure. I can see the Pens, Wings, and Sharks as viable partners.

As far as Oullet (pittsburgh), I'd rather pass. For Hudler, I like him, but I don't think we need a smallish center.

I'd love to send him to SJ for Bernier(SJ owes us)+ Malakov's salary to even the $ out for this season.

Feel free to object.
