I agree entirely... and im not sure if you're being fully seriuos....but if you are Messier probably is not in good shape, but Leetch definitely is probably good and ready to go...maybe he'll be signed by the end of this month

Don Maloney was on XM 2 days ago and basically said they are not signing Leetch, too bad we could use him instead of having Pock passing to the wrong team.

I have a feeling Leetchie will hang it up or sign with somebody who has the best chance to win the cup in the east...

Color me skeptical, but I seriously doubt that Leetch could shake off the rust in time to help us out down the stretch.

what did you goto the movies with him the other day? how would you know what he's up to?

(i'm guessing you are getting this information from somewhere and I would be interested to read it, that's all... not doubting it, just haven't heard anything)

I don't think either would be good enough to even make our lineup right now.

MAYBE Messier would be an upgrade over Krog on the 4th line. Leetch is no better than Pock at this point and Pock can't even get into our top 6.

Maybe these 2 could have come back last season and made a difference in the playoffs, but not anymore. They've had too long off, they're done.

If he was in decent shape, do (all the naysayers) you really think Betts or Krog are better than Messier as a second line center?

If we signed him now, he could get in playing shape and play the last 20-25 games.

Sure, it's a little ridiculous, but it's a better alternative than trading an asset.

Of course, I'd prefer to try Immonen or Dubinsky.
