I wish the Flyers had Huselius.

Sigh. Guess we can't rely on other teams to prevent you from winning the division... we're gonna have to do it ourselves.

I don't care if they score several more goals. I will still be disappointed in the results of this game if nobody steps up to defend their teammates. Columbus is running the best Flames all they want, and only Godard's doing anything about it.

Looks like Lombardi was hurt on that last play. Time to role the 3rd and 4th lines now. I have a bad feeling we'll be seeing some injuries to our top players if we don't.

Lombardi gets smoked,Huselius gets a knee on knee,Konopka runs into Iginla's leg along the boards. Then some bad luck when Regehr slams into the boards and for a moment it looked like Warrener was injured again when he slipped and jammed his leg against the boards.I just pray that Phaneuf isn't injured.

All i can say is i'm glad this game is over.We need a healthy line up for tomorrows big game.

vancouvers the luckiest team in the league. we get beat to ***** tonight by a dirty columbus team (not usually dirty, but they were mad at something tonight) who knows who could be out of the lineup or playing hurt tommorow night. and then guess who gets to waltz into the dome tommorow and play a banged up flames team. iam starting to hate the canucks more then the oilers. definatley dislike their fans and players more. just the ora of the oilers that i dislike more.

already thinking vancouver takes the win tommorow cause i cant see calgary being 100%. we still have iginla/conroy/huselius/tanguay for sure being healthy and kiprusoff as well, so maybe iam overreacting, it is still just vancouver. very beatable team.

He pushed Konopka around a little. Whoop-de-doo. It sure didn't stop the Jackets from taking runs at our guys.

I was listning on the radio, but I didn't catch if they announced that Warrener's goal was his 100th point (or something similar) in his career. The game summary on NHL certainly doesn't mention it. I thought 100 points was something to be celebrated... I guess not in Warrener's case?

They were sure mentioning it on the Hot Stove after the game. Sure 100 points is something to be proud of, however, when it took a guy like Warrener over 650 games to get them, you can't blame people for overlooking it.

Well at that time in the game, the Flames had let off the gas a bit, he wasn't going to let himself give up a power play

he gave him a pretty good cross check and the refs stepped right in... and Godard defended Iggy and Kipper by going after Konopka... the only guy that didnt pay the piper was tolefson... we was the one i thought Godard should go after... his knee on knee was just ugly and someone should have done something

That was a pretty chippy game last night. Flames did kind of let off the gas a little bit in the middle of the game. The Jackets really competed hard (albeit not always cleanly) and did not show any quit despite being down big. Konopka looks like a bit of a Sean Avery-lite the way he agitates guys out there....

I was very disappointed to see some of the remarks here. I would hope that no player or team ever tries to take out another teams player/players.

Calgary is a hockey city with what i would hope to be more than just class!!!!

I was fortunate enough to have 3 Columbus fans, one my fiancee, come up last year to see their team play both the Flames and Oilers.

They were impressed with the fans of both places!!!! and would hope that to remain that way as they do plan another trip here as they had so enjoyed themselves.

These comments truly undermine not only this board but what hockey is truly about.

That is about as classless as a moderator can be. I am a season tic holder in Columbus but the Flames are my 2nd fav team. I've been to the saddledome several times to games and must say most every fan i met wearing my jackets sweater had much more class than you display. Need i remind you on our last trip to Calgary Phanuef knocked Zherdev out for 2 weeks. It's unfortunate but we didn't advocate violence. We came in after getting our arses handed to us in edm mad. Face it, the Flames brand of hockey is hitting as well. Was a chippy game, I wish the Flames as well as The Bluejackets the best of luck. But sir you are off base.

Just a question...

Did any of your players miss the game versus Vancouver? From our side, both Hainsey and Tollefsen were hurt during the Calgary game and could potentially miss the game versus Pheonix on 2/6.

Yelle missed the Vancouver game... Yelle was hurt his foot blocking a shot but he didnt leave the game agaisnt the jackets... Warrener wasnt hurt in the Columbus game but was hurt in his first shift against vancouver

and what happened to tollefsen? please tell me he is out with a knee injury and he hurt it kneeing huselius... because that would be icing on the cake... the guy deserved to hurt himself when he stuck out his knee like that
